Wasn't sure where to put this,so have also put it in the party section too.
DS will be one in a few weeks and I thought I'd attempt my first ever cake, but I need to find a cake tin first, preferably online.
Any ideas,please?

TIA.

One here - not cheap though!

Mind you, it looks like the cheapest one I can find - others seem to be £25 and £30.

Thanks-maybe I'm better off buying a photo cake from Tesco for only £8 .

You could always get a plain one and use coloured ready rolled fondant to cut out the 1 and stick on with warmed apricot jam or butter icing . Add other ready made decorations and hey presto !

Thanks LIZS-that's a great idea but I'm no cake expert,so might be a bit tricky.Certainly bear it in mind though.

you can usually hire cake tins from nice bakers/cake shops - a few pounds for a week or something.
Where do you live?

Thanks Tommy.I live in Essex.

Don't know Essex at all but I'm sure a quick look through the Yellow pages at cake decorators or something might find you something. I know of 2 shops that hire out tins within walking distance so they can't be that unusual!
