Ideas for dessert tomorrow please

I have to take a pudding to a BBQ tomorrow. I've got no food in the house (just back from hols) so will have to go shopping in the morning. BBQ is at one. Another guest is taking a baked cheesecake.

Any ideas?

Ah, now, I was thinking of making something but I wouldn't have time to make any of those. But I suppose theres no reason I couldn't buy a ready-made dessert.

Big bowl strawberries and raspberries and some fresh cream?

Ooh I think the brownies could be the winner. The cheesecake is having strawberries on it, but I could do raspberries with the brownies. Now to dig out Nigel Slater.

Or a fruit salad. Melon, kiwi, blueberries etc etc some people prefer something light after all the main BBQ food. And it's easy to prepare and basically 20 mins chopping whatever fruit and adding some juice
