That actually sounds lovely, my DS likes the inside bit of quiche but is not a big pastry fan (short crust anyway). I adore puff pastry goat cheese parcels.

You may have stumbled across a delicious crossover....

I quite often make it with puff pastry. You just get a puffy crust...

Practically wise the filling may need to be a little less liquid going in but that surmising on my part because puff doesn't handle wet as well as shortcrust

I use puff pastry to make a quiche, bung in your filling, it will be fine.
