Two pork bellies in slow cooker, will it work?

If you want them crispy you might need to finish them under the grill.

But they should be lovely done in the SC! The fat will keep the meat moist.

Cider and apple sauce sounds amazing!

I find that the meat really dries out if I try to blast it to crisp it up. Sorry.

Yes in theory, 30 mins under a hot grill should give you a really nice crackling but it just always seem so dry.

To stop the rest of the meat drying out once it's cooked, you could cut the skin off. Score it and rub it with salt before whacking under the grill. It's important to score it otherwise you will have a large slab of crackling.

The problem with cooking it in the slow cooker is that the meat will probably fall apart so I would be surprised if you could get under the grill.

I've done what JamNan suggests a few times, cut the skin off, meat in slow cooker, skin under the grill. Works really well although I've never done it with belly. Do you have a bbq? Some friends cook pork belly on theirs and it's amazing.
