And did they eat it?

DS, 23mo
Thur lunch - beans, toast and cheese. Ate loads.
Thur breakfast - Cheerios. Ate 2 bowls.
Wed dinner - homemade Pork Curry. Ate rice and naan but unimpressed by pork. Had 2 yogurts.
Wed lunch - Baguette, ham, cheese and pear. Ate pear and ham.
Wed breakfast - Rice crispies and raisins. Had 2 bowls.
Tue dinner - Pasta with soft cheese and sweetcorn, and some apple. Ate very little. Had some Percy Pig Easter egg.

I'm nosy looking for new ideas! :)

Tuesday was a home made day:
(always cereal and fruit for breakfast)
lunch: egg fried rice and veg
dinner: pasta with veg sauce
ate everything

yesterday was not quite so homemade:
lunch: Heinz tomato soup
dinner: jacket potato with cheese and beans
ate everything

haven't a clue what we'll have for lunch today - spag hoops with cheese on toast or scrambled egg perhaps (damn, I've just realised I've got hardly any bread). Dinner is going to be pesto pasta. (will probably eat everything).

This makes DD sound quite good but she's rubbish, I have to read at least 2 stories to get her to make a decent in-road into a meal.

I'm crap at meals. I could live off penne arrabiata for days, but I realise this isn't a suitable diet for a 3 year old. Or me, probably.

Tuesday DS had toast for breakfast, soup for dinner and spag bol for tea - ate it all

Wednesday - weetabix for tea, stew and dumplings for dinner (nursery) and jacket and tuna - ate all

Today - weetabix for breakfast, about to have a chippy lunch.

He is 3 and eats most things thankfully.

Special K for breakfast is inexplicably popular chez milkwas at the moment.

Recent lunches have included eggy bread, fish pie with egg and spinach in it (which DD ate, to my amazement), ham sandwiches, pasta with sausage and homemade ratatouille type sauce.

Suppers have included bolognese with couscous, beef curry, shop made fish cakes with mini sweetcorn, pasta with broccoli, ham and philly.

Not very inspiring I'm afraid. Hope some whizz cooks will be along soon!

Boil 225g red lentils

Fry off an onion with a grated carrot
Add in 100g cheese, 25g breadcrumbs, egg, herbs.
Stir in cooked lentils.
Bake at gas mark 5 for 30 mins.

I sometimes bake with sliced tomatoes on top.

Did baked bananas and easter egg chocolate for dessert. That went down well.

4 year old. For the past about six meals we've had a variation on salami, sausage, cucumber, carrots and peppers for every single meal, sometimes sneaking in some bread, pasta or sweetcorn, which he mostly doesn't eat.

Monday supper - "little dish" spinach and ricotta ravioli with pesto. Yes, she ate 9 of them.

Monday lunch - The salt ridden "ploughmans" at local pub, she ate the cheese and olives, not so much the bread.

Monday breakfast - porridge no doubt. If so, would certainly have eaten it.

Sunday supper - baked trout fillets with carrots and couscous. Yes, she had a go at this

Sunday lunch - pizza. No, not much eaten at all.

Sunday breakast - scrambled egg and toast. Yes, she liked that.

thatnks Iceberg, will have that a go.

See, I am rubbish - told DD we'd do spag hoops and scrambled egg - don't have any spag hoops. Could do baked beans but she had them yesterday, and also pooed 3 times yesterday so I'm kind of loathe to. At least I found some bread in the fridge.

DS2 (3yo):

Breakfast is always toast and cereal or fruit.
Tues lunch: pizza, salad, yoghurt
Tues dinner: pasta in spinach & cheese sauce, pitta bread

Wed lunch: ham roll, crisps, Fudge bar, apple
Wed dinner: fish cake, cauliflower cheese, corn on the cob, chocolate egg

Today lunch: crumpets with cream cheese, cucumber, yoghurt
Today dinner: probably sausage, potato waffle and baked beans

I am lucky in that he eats basically everything. DS1 restores the cosmic balance by living off about five things.

How do you do the bbq beans, iceberg?

We used to make the cheesy lentil thing occasionally. I really like it, but DS not so much. And we rarely have eggs in the house nowadays so it seems a waste to buy just for me to eat cheesy lentils.

What's a fried egg banjo ankly?

(Just a wee experiment with your name there, I'm also on the "how do you shorten your nn" thread at the moment.)

For me, DH and DD, plus lunch for DH next day I did

Fried an onion , garlic and a grated carrot, and a few strips of streaky smoked bacon.
Added in a tin of tomatoes
Two cans of borroti (sp?) beans
Lots of tomato puree, tea spoon of vinegar, some ketshup, two teaspoons of honey. Then tasted and altered.

Mash potato topped with cheese. Oven.

Serve with veg of choice.

I went onto the good food website and looked at the family meal recipe section for ideas as was getting bored.

Above was cheap too.

cheese on toast - eaten

tues - shepherds pie - picked at, peas - eaten
cheese and ham toastie - eaten
