Easter plans have been turned on their head due to unforeseen circumstances, so I now have both sets of GPs coming here for supper with us and our DC. My mind has gone blank and I can't think what to do for our meal. DC are 8 and 7 but eat most things.

Needs to be something I can prep fairly quickly as I need to get to the shop, home and have the bulk of it done by around 1 when they arrive. Also need time to set up the beds etc!!!

TIA
Ideas on a post (card) please......

Kids have said chicken. I think that us a good call. Chicken pieces in a big pot. Narrows down my recipe search! Thanks for providing clarity in a moment of minor panic!

I'd bake a whole salmon. Probably with fennel bulbs and roast potatoes with it.

You can serve with puy lentils if you need to make it stretch further
