Bit naughty but banana on a stick, cover in melted chocolate and frozen. Delicious!

I like frozen green grapes. Great for a sweet treat when dieting

WheresMrMonkey Thu 21-Feb-13 23:40:49

Satsuma segments, delicious!!

Frozen grapes are great to use as an alternative to ice cubes if your wine isn't chilled enough too, to avoid diluting it.

Red or green ?

JassyRadlett Thu 21-Feb-13 22:47:14

When I was a kid in a hot country, we used to eat frozen oranges straight out of the skin with a teaspoon. Gorgeous.

Frozen grapes were pretty much all I ate in labour. When I was pregnant I used to fill large ice cube trays with green innocent smoothie and a grape or two. Marvellous.

Greek yogurt and honey ? <helpful>

Not frozen though.

Ooo berries
Anyone tried:
Peach slices?
OK enough listing of random fruit!

Doubletroublemummy2 Thu 21-Feb-13 22:30:21

Really!! Grapes! wow! will be buying freezer grapes tomorrow!! Although nothing can be better for you than ice cream, surely!??!?

LRDtheFeministDragon Thu 21-Feb-13 22:28:46

Another one for frozen bananas. Lovely.

I am a bit odd because I like frozen gooseberries very much. You let them thaw a little and they are lovely, slightly mouth-puckering but very tasty. You can suck on them like gobstoppers.

And, erm, frozen sweetcorn. I used to eat bowlfuls of it.

I've got a virus that has triggered asthma so I'm on oral steroids. I'm also on a ton of pills for back pain. <falling apart emoticon>
Swallowing hurts. Some food tastes bad. Spent much of today sort of in and out of consciousness! (Not home alone!)
Frozen grapes soooo good though!

Frozen raspberries

ChewinTheFat Thu 21-Feb-13 22:22:15

I love frozen grapes, good if you're on a diet too. They feel like more of a treat than unfrozen grapes for some unknown reason

floweryblue Thu 21-Feb-13 22:22:09

What's wrong with you Wolfie? If whatever is wrong allows pineapple/pineapple juice it's great for overcoming queasiness first thing.

momb Thu 21-Feb-13 22:22:04

full fat actimel. soothing when you are feeling rubbish and good for you when there isn't much in your gut. Not frozen, just sip it down.

RaspberryRuffle Thu 21-Feb-13 22:21:23

We used to always have frozen grapes when we were little, we were tricked into having them instead of biscuits by my mum saying that they were really only for big girls!

Dawndonna Thu 21-Feb-13 22:21:01

Marshmallows! Yep, seriously, try it!

NotSoNervous Thu 21-Feb-13 22:18:39

shockshock Hang on one minute!!!! You can freeze grapes?.

Wolfiefan Thu 21-Feb-13 22:17:37

Sounds good! I've been prescribed 8 flipping pills to take each morning but have been warned I MUST eat. I really don't want to eat. I feel rubbish and like I've swallowed a bunch of razor blades. Frozen stuff good. Fruit has got to be better than ice cream no?!

DoubleMum Thu 21-Feb-13 22:13:23

Bananas. Taste like banana icecream. And if you mash them when a bit defrosted and mash in a teaspoon of peanut butter it's heaven.

Wolfiefan Thu 21-Feb-13 22:09:50

How in the world did I not know about this before? Thank you soooo much to the lovely MNetter who shared. I'm not well at all and struggling to eat actual food but these are amazing.
Soooo what else can I freeze?!
