Really? Do I need to score it? Then do I just poke it in a bit till its cooked thru? Thanks so much. I found a recipie but it was for a big joint. Do I cover the meat with coke?

I would say put the coke about half way up the joint. Scoring isnt really needed unless you want to cook the fat selarate after. It wont go crispy in the slow cooker.

I cooked a 2kg joint on low for 10 hours. So for 750g maybe 6 hours? It will create a lot of its own juices so you dont want to put too much coke in or it will overflow.

I boil the ham for a few minutes and then drain before putting in coke.

I soak the ham overnight to get rid of the salt. Then ham, pour of coke and onto Cooke. Job done.
