Hello foodies , bit of food processor advice needed please.
Due to DH having points from work, we have a limited choice, but I can have one of:
Kenwood prospero km265 (compact) www.kenwoodworld.com/en-INT/All-products/Kitchen-Machines/Prospero/KM265-Prospero-Compact-Food-Mixer-0WKM265001/
Phillips hr7620 www.philips.co.uk/c/food-preparation/daily-collection-500-w-2-l-bowl-hr7620_70/prd/
Kenwood food processor www.kenwoodworld.com/uk/All-Products/Food-Processors/Food-Processors/FP120-Food-Processor-0WFP120001/
The first one will cost all our points, while the other two will leave quite a lot over to save for other stuff.
Just wondering if anyone has any of these machines and can recommend. Also, if anyone can give any advice as to whether I should go for the cheaper ones, or shell out for the prospero with the blender and processor attachments?
I will be using it for pastry, soup, chopping veg, grating cheese, making curry paste, and any form of 'zizzing' which makes my life easier. I already have a blender but would get rid to free up counter space if I got the prospero. I don't make cakes often but when I do I have a handheld mixer that I use which is starting to smell suspiciously of burning since I used it to mix polyfilla .
I have heard that the K beater on the kenwood mixers can be used to make mash too, and we eat a lot of mash!
Can you tell which one I'm leaning towards?!
