Impressive but surprisingly easy dishes to make
i'm in charge of the pudding for christmas day. am hoping to make something like this www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/crown_layered_pavlova_80809i haven't made one before - any hints? u have no white wine vineger, do i need it?
As soon as you cut into it the whole thing will be ruined, I would make 2 regular pavlovas of I was you. Delias recipe doesn't use cornflour or vinegar and is fabulous
I always make nigellas. Need corn flour and white wine vinegar and is all marshmallowy and yummy.Buy the cartons of egg white. Sainsburys stock them near chilled pastry. Saves using half of the eggs. Unless you making custard that is.
I used this this recipe to make my first ever pavlova. It was strangely easy but I did used the correct ingredients and think that's why I didn't have any problems.Vinegar does have it's uses, but I like the idea of lemon juice also.
