Golden syrup is your substitute.

My American boss uses golden syrup instead of corn syrup.

Would liquid glycerine do it?

I believe you can use golden syrup as a like for like swap.

You can buy it on amazon I seem to recall (Karo corn syrup).

HFW has a recipe for marshmallows and that uses all English ingredients so may be an easier one to follow. Just can't recall what he uses (maybe sugar and water to make his own syrup but again not sure).

Planning on attempting making my own Marshmallows and the recipes call for Corn Syrup.

Can you buy corn syrup in the uk? Had a little look in Sainsbury's today but didn't see any.
Can I substitute it for anything else?
