Fajitas?
Lemon chicken?
Sweet and sour pork?
Gnocchi?

Bearandcub Sun 28-Oct-12 11:23:41

Ring and ask them what they want / use a recipe they like?

YouSeveredHead Sun 28-Oct-12 11:23:44

Tapas? Then you can do a couple of things that do include them just for you?

Do the meat separate to the veg, so they can just have meat.
Refried beans, sour cream, grated cheese?

NettoSpookerstar Sun 28-Oct-12 11:35:50

Or a pie, chicken and bacon maybe, or mushrooms if they eat though, or what about a roast, something for everything and easy just to take the bits they like.

regnamechange Sun 28-Oct-12 11:36:56

My dh will only have meat and salad in the fajitas he doesn't like peppers or onions so I second just meat!

mymatemax Sun 28-Oct-12 11:37:01

Do party foods, loads of nibbles stuff they can choose from

regnamechange Sun 28-Oct-12 11:37:09

It can be as hard or easy as you like

Roast chicken with trimmings, which they can eat or not. Can't be dealing with fussy eaters.

I would do chicken. & chips or something simple then.

That's extraordinarily fussy, I'd just cook something plain & simple..

PickledFanjoCat Sun 28-Oct-12 11:50:01

Pie & chips. Big fat juicy homemade chips are nice.

NettoSpookerstar Sun 28-Oct-12 11:53:16

Cheese sandwiches perhaps with some soup.

heymammy Sun 28-Oct-12 11:54:14

I would do a plain roast chicken...no spices or sauces/gravy on it. Do all the veg separately and either make chunky chips or roast potatoes. That way el-fussypants can eat as much or as little as they like. If you do want sauce/gravy/spices then do them separately also.

I just hear olive oil in a oven dish, on high, cut the potatoes into chip shapes and cook them like that.

They do taste nice & chip like.

I put garlic & rosemary in with them but they might object.

PickledFanjoCat Sun 28-Oct-12 12:01:02

I heat it obvs, rather than hearing it.

No just hot spitting oil and the raw chip shaped spuds.

Bloody lush they are - and reasonably healthy too, compared to fried ones.

I'm not sure what goes on with all these double & triple cooked chips but that always works for me anyway.
