Lasagne - does fresh pasta need boiling first?

No. Nor does dried lasagne - you just make the sauces a bit more liquid.

...We use Emeril Lagasse's homemade lasagne recipe.We make our own dough.
Then after we cut the long slices,we Hang them on a wooden clothes drying rack.When they get properly dried,we place them in their Boiling,salted water
and cook them carefully.After cooking them,they are drained,oiled and then
Layered into the Lasagne recipe.Jill.

No I don't even bother with the packets of dried sheets. Just cook it on lower heat, with plenty of juices and its fine (about 40/45mins)
