We do them in cling film. Stretch over a mug, break egg in, season and twist cling film to seal. Chuck in the

I've not tried it, but you can apparently poach eggs wrapped in cling film.

Line a cup or ramekin with cling film, leaving the edges draped over the side, break an egg into the cup then gather up the edges of the cling film and tie them in a knot. Pop the wrapped bundles of egg in simmering water.

I heard Jamie Oliver on the radio the other day recommending the cling film method, for when you want them to look perfect.

I use those silicone pods. They have always worked perfectly.
