Chocolate or cocoa/hot choc powder seems to be the big difference between recipes. BBC good food suggests Ingredients250g/8oz digestive biscuits150g/5oz milk chocolate150g/5oz dark chocolate100g/3½oz unsalted butter150g/5oz golden syrup100g/3½oz dried apricots, chopped75g/2½oz raisins60g/2oz pecans, chopped (optional)But our very own mumsnet recipe has less choc but the addition of drinking choc and sugar...Ingredients225g digestive biscuits (crushed) 110g butter 4 tsp drinking chocolate 2 tbsp golden syrup 2 tsp soft brown sugar 110g dark cooking chocolate Can anybody tell me what their fool proof method is before I start? Thanks
BBC recipe. Drinking chocolate is vile, if I used the mumsnet recipe I'd use proper cocoa instead.
