Duck pancake rolls are in the oven, 10 mins to go, doing lunch for mum and dad - and I thought I had hoisin sauce in the cupboard but I don't! What is good to dip them in? Thinking ketchup mixed with a bit of honey and orange juice... Ideas please?
I guess it's too late now - I always have a big bottle of chilli sauce on the go so would use that.What did you use in the end and did it work?
thanks trills you know what they say, better late than never!I couldn't use my chili sauce as my mum's allergic (I love it though).I mixed up a bit of barbecue sauce with a lot of Catalina dressing (a sort of sweet & sour salad dressing), it was nothing like hoisin but it was lovely!
