What shall I take to friends for lunch?

Hi all,

I'm going to lunch at a friends house today and we said we'd both make a bit of something, I'm feeling lacking in inspiration this morning and can't think what to take. What do you think? There'll just be the 2 of us with our 2 3yr olds

A cous cous salad with lots of roasted veg cut up and a couple of spoons of mint sauce and toasted pine nuts - I make this a lot and it looks nice and usually goes with anything else. Nice to add fresh mint or coriander too.

Mine always love sandwiches cut with a cutter - star, flower, gingerbread man etc. HTH
