Ok - much as I like gammon I feel after three days that I need to eat something else - can I freeze slices today to use another day?
Yes.I do this instead of buying ham for sandwiches.
I was just worried that I should have frozen it sooner? has been in fridge since Sunday night
We would keep a cooked Gammon joint on the go for up to a week without any worry, provided it was in the fridge. Don't forget that it has been cured, to some extent, with salt AND been cooked. Don't worry.
