Which flour for no knead bread?

I'm going to try Delia's no knead bread. The recipe suggests wholemeal flour, but I fancy white or a mix. Do I need strong white flour or will SR be fine? The wholemeal she suggests is just standard.

TIA

Have not used this recipe, but I make the Five Minute no knead bread from the Five Minute Bread book. I use the peasant bread recipe, which has a mix of rye, wholemeal, and plain white, but I use strong white bread flour. I played about with the recipe for a while, but I never made anything that was inedible!

I don't know the recipe either. I'd use strong white like sloggies, though regular plain would probably be fine...think I'd steer clear of self raising though (unless it specifies it - is it a soda bread?).

Thankyou. It's meant to be a standard wholemeal loaf. I tried it with strong white flour. It was slightly heavy, but delicious, an very happy for a first attempt.
