I am in the middle of making some and realise that I dont have egg to breadcrumb them. Do you think milk will work instead?

Prob not because you need the thickness of the egg. I googled egg alternatives the other day when making a cake and didn't have enough eggs and found a great site with lots of suggestions for all eggrelated uses:) I'm on my iPod so can't link to it but try googling and maybe you'll find it too!

milk works just fine - i have done it loads of times even making 70 of the buggers!

Made them and they were ok - a little slippery to handle but the looked and tasted good.No-one has died yet! Thanks
