Fish cakes

I am in the middle of making some and realise that I dont have egg to breadcrumb them. Do you think milk will work instead?

Prob not because you need the thickness of the egg. I googled egg alternatives the other day when making a cake and didn't have enough eggs and found a great site with lots of suggestions for all eggrelated usessmile I'm on my iPod so can't link to it but try googling and maybe you'll find it too!

milk works just fine - i have done it loads of times even making 70 of the buggers!

Made them and they were ok - a little slippery to handle but the looked and tasted good.No-one has died yet! Thanks
