I have just discovered I'm pregnant, which I'm happy about. Although I do get some nausea during the day, no vomiting as yet.
What i'm wondering is, I'm finding I'm getting very hungry. I'm trying to eat well, like lots of fruit and veggies etc. But what did/do people find helps with the munchies, is safe to eat and reasonably healthy?
Please help!

Well speaking as someone who ate their weight in cheese and onion crisps when newly pregnant when I never usually ate any crisps and then ate my weight in mars bars the last two weeks of my pregnancy, I am not the best person to advise you, but until someone sensible comes along, I would say eat when you need to, it's a busy time for your body right now so you will prob crave carbs and possibly sugar, more than veggies! Try to keep it balanced, but you know that, but sometimes your craving for chalk, salt or grass cuttings will over power that! Congratulations by the way!

Healthy things I very occasionally ate: almonds, fruit, oatcakes, cheese, hummus

What I mainly ate: Biscuits :o and warm ribena for some reason!
