Ordered the sides for my hog roast - how does this sound?

Decided after my last post that I am running out of time to do it myself so went to Waitrose and ordered it all to be collected on Sat

There are about 30 people coming but there is going to be a lot of hog plus lots of crisps, dips and nuts so I didn't want to go overboard.

Ordered the potato salad for 24, the couscous for 24, the mozzarella and tom salad for 12 and the greek salad for 12

Hang on have I ordered to much carb and not enough salad?

Bugger. Help!!

I might be tempted to pick up bags of mixed green salad just in case, but TBH I have been to parties with hog roast and just that and no-one was objecting at all.

I figured I could put some extra spinach leaves as a base to the tom and moz salad - not sure what leaves would go with greek salad though?

Yeah the man who is doing the hog roast said don't do much in the way of sides as the meat/roll etc is so filling. Think it is nice to have a little something though :)

Yeah I was going to do potato salad and coleslaw then I thought that is too much mayo stuff going on so I went for the cous cous instead. What I have ordered so far has hit my budget so can't order more really unless I get a big tub of coleslaw from Bookers when I get the drink on Thursday. Can't imagine the quality will be amazing though...

Oh yes the hog roast man is bringing all the accompaniments. No idea how to make coleslaw and no time to do it dee!
