Slightly random thread about crumpets

If you were to have crumpets as a meal like lunch or dinner with cheese and beans (as opposed to a snack) how many would you have?

Crumpets are for breakfast, with butter. i have 3.

Any other variation IMO is not normal.

Once I ate 9 in one go! But normally 2 or 4 at a time. Any time of day or any meal.

so you 1-crumpet eating weirdos must be the reason why i occasionally have an odd crumpet lurking in my bread-bin. who eats crumpets in uneven numbers? not anyone in my house, so you folks MUST be breaking in and eating single crumpets from my bread-bin while i am asleep.

When I was pregnant I ate an entire pack of 8 though. I was suddenly starved and they were the only thing in the house that I wanted. I only toasted 2 at a time but before I knew it, the pack was empty

Two. I'd have two slices of bread if it was beans on toast so I'd have two crumpets. Although not sure I'd put anything other than jam or nutella on a crumpet in the first place.
