HFW does a tomatillo chutney recipe, for which he says use green tomatoes if you can't get any. Although i have no idea what a tomatillo is, I've made this every year for probably a decade with green toms and it's yummy.
Have you got her book? I'm thinking about getting it. Is it good?
I've googled a bit, and apparently tinned tomatillos will do (don't have any green tomatoes). And I ordered some from amazon. When did amazon start selling food? I haven't got the book yet myself. I probably will soon though. Thing is, I look at my kitchen shelves, and more cookery books are not what I need!
