I can use kilner jars for jam right?

I have just got a complete mind blank about this. I am going fruit picking tomorrow and have normal jam jars and a few kilner jars with rubber seals. Can I use them for jam making? If so, where do I put the cling film/plastic seal bits you put over the top? Or is the rubber seal enough?

Pop the waxed disc on top of the jam and they should be fine. But check the contents occasionally. I once had a lot of preserved lemons go mouldy in a Kilner jar.

I make marmalade every year and store it mostly in Kilner jars. I never bother with wax discs and have yet to open a mouldy jar.
