can I freeze corn on the cob?

Sometimes I can only buy a 2 pack and only dd likes them and she only manages 1/2 at a time. I nearly always end up throwing one away.

If so can I just stick them in a freezer bag? Or is there some special process required?

You can either freeze it directly or blanch it first. I've only done it by blanching, so can't vouch for the results when freezing raw. Blanching is alright, although the texture is slightly affected and it's not quite as nice as fresh, but better than throwing it out.
