I made individual jellies for dd's birthday 2 weeks ago. One still lurks in the fridge; do you think it would be ok for me to eat it?

Well when I buy the jellies from the supermarket (little stars do some) the use by date is usually very long so I would have thought ok?

I would probably give it a try I think. Although not sure whether gelatine (if meat based) would be OK.

if it hasn't gone runny and there's nothing strange and furry growing on it; and there's no dodgy cream topping then can't see the problem.

If any of the above apply - bin it.

Yeah, I would eat it as well, based on the same guidelines as thumbwitch. Having said that, there's no way a jelly would have survived 2 weeks in my fridge without having been eaten much earlier!

I chucked it.

It lasted so long because it was only one-2 dc not easy to share.
