Can we do an online 'Can't Cook, Won't Cook' - I tell you the ingredients and you come up with a menu?

So I have the following in the fridge, and we have people coming for dinner tomorrow, and I want to use what we have if possible rather than buy more (although don't mind getting some extras), but can't come up with a decent menu - come on, hit me with your best ideas (nothing too massively complicated or that will take me all day though please!). I'd be really very grateful.

This is all leftover from a big event recently:

Loads of: red onions, beef tomatoes, gorgonzola, smoked cheddar, the kind of mozzarella that comes in big blocks and is only good when cooked, salad, parsley, red chillis.

Also have smoked salmon, a big chunk of beef sirloin, button mushrooms, chorizo, cucumbers.

I have a good selection of staples, and can buy anything extra if needed, plus booze.

What do you reckon?

Salmon and red onion is lovely in pasta with the chillie and parsley.

The cheeses and tomatos could be lobbed on puff pastry to make a tart. One with beef and gorgonzola and the other mozzerella and tomato. Serve it all with salad?

Liking this...any more? Was thinking a touch more sophisticated than pizza, but tarts are good. Keep it coming!

I wouldn't use the staples, they could catch in your throat or even break a tooth! Grin

Stuff and bake the beef tomatoes, serve the salmon and the sirloin cold with hollandaise and Mustard respectively. Get some creme Fraiche and dilute it down with the juice and zest of lemons, pour over a pile of Salad leaves and mozzarella. Greek Salad to use up the red onions and cucumber or make tzatziki with the cucumbers and some Greek yogurt. Frythe chorizo and serve tapas style, marinade the mushrooms also serve tapas style.

Leave the gorgonzola and smoked cheddar alone and just serve with some grapes and crackers.
