I made a couple of lasagnes last night, and didn't twig until I took them out of the oven that they were going to need to cool before I put them in the fridge. As this was at 11.30pm, I covered them in foil and left them on top of the oven and went to bed. When DS woke me for a feed at 5am, I nipped downstairs and put them in the fridge then. They still felt slightly warm to the touch.
Is that ok?
I'm worried because the reason I was making lasagne at that time of night (and more importantly not eating it as soon as it was ready!) is that I'm planning to take them round to a couple of my friends who have had babies in the last couple of weeks. I would be absolutely mortified if I gave them food poisoning!
