My plant has bolted, and now I have lots of fresh seeds.I've only ever used dried before. Can I use them fresh or should I dry them in a low ven for ages or toast them? Thanks so much.
I'd have a go with all three ideas if you've got lots of them. Fresh they'll probably taste quite pungent and orangey.
They don't need any more drying once they've fallen off the plant. I stick them into my pepper mill (about one quarter coriander seeds to three quarters peppercorns). Delicious just used as normal ground pepper.
Ooh, thank you. I was worried they'd be poisonous raw!
