I meant to buy a packet of that so juicy (?) mix but Asda had run out.

I have a variety of herbs ,spices and seasonings at my disposal but no recipe .

Any ideas?

Get a roasting bag, pour in some oil then throw in your herbs and spices. Shake it all up then fasten the bag up and pop in the oven, delicious.
Roasting bags are 99p for 10 from ASDA. MAGGI are about that just for 1 bag.

Thanks for the tip.Grin
I have a random turkey roasting bag lurking in the kitchen drawer plus lots of herbs and oil . Is that all there is to Maggis secret then?

Yes, thats all there is to it. I have tried both Maggi and my own cheaper method, both taste great.
Only reason a Maggi chicken tastes so juicy is cos the chicken does not dry out as it's encased in the bag, but it works the same with your own herbs and stuff. I have also done this with lamb and threw some mint from the garden and oil in...the meat just fell off the bone. Also works great with veg.
