Slow Cooker Brownie In a Mug

For those of you that requested it, here's the recipe for the slow cooker brownies...

Get some mugs - make sure they are old ones though, not your best ones.

brownie mix - make it up as you normally would, but instead of putting t in a tray, put it in your mugs.

Cooking oil spray - give each mug a squirt - don't use a lot, but it makes them easier to wash.

Spoon brownie mix into each mug, filling it about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way.

Put mugs into slow cooker

Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2 to 3 hours.

Check ater about two hours - You will know they are fully cooked when they have risen, pulled away at the sides and you can insert a knife and pull it back out clean.

Once you think they are done, leave them in slowcooker but with lid off for about half an our AS MUGS WILL BE VERY HOT and they need to cool down.

Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or some vanilla icecream on top.

sorry to be dense

do you have to cover the mugs, or does the steam make the top all soggy?

Could you do them in little ramekins and eat them as choclate puddings in the pot do you think?

(am ridiculously excited at new use for slow cooker beyond chicken stew.....)

Thank you hatti I have most of those ingredients.
I just need to buy some cheap new mugs, not risking it with my jamie mugs Smile

Hatti - i've never covered the mugs and they've always come out fine.

Orgina - I'm not sure, i suppose you could do very small ones, and make more of them, iyswim?

As for brownie recipe I have been known to use a packet mix
