Was it on here I read an easy fish and sliced potato pie recipe?

It was one of those 'bung it all in' recipes. I think you line the dish with sliced potatos and then put fish and... my memory fails.

Okay. Failing that, I am making a fish pie (for children). I don't have floury potatoes. Only small, waxy ones. How do I do an overlapping discs of crispy potato topping? Instead of mash.

you can either slice them very thinly and place on top or
slice, parboil then put on top.
I tend to parboil mine because there's nothing worse than getting a hard spud.

if you grate waxy potatoes and dot with butter that is imo the easiest, quickest topping.
