Varied lunchbox ideas

For DS who is 3 and I need to provide food at nursery. They have no way to heat food.

So far:

Ham sandwiches
Yoghurt
Fruit

Not very appealing!

dd1 today has chosen

Prawn and coleslaw wraps
Bluberry Muffin
Petit Filous
Apple and Banana
Seseme breadsticks with a little pot of Philly dip

(she won't eat it all, but didn't know what she fancied. Dd2 finishes the left overs on the way home from school)

DH has:

ham and philly sarnie
cherry tomatos
a wedge of cheese and some buttered crackers
muffin
banana
Quavers
Yoghurt

Other things we use often are:

Fruit and jelly pots
Fruit salad pots
Cucumber sticks with cheese dip
Cheese savoury or tuna, mayo and sweet corn sarnies
cold pasta salad
soup (in a thermos)
home made fruit and nut flapjacks
boiled eggs
cold chicken legs
mini chedders
babybel

Treats (usually on Fridays)

chocolate biscuit
caramel slice
cheese strings
Those Dairlea snack pack things
cheesecake (put in a little sandwhich tub to stop it going everywhere)
Ribena drinks

Depends how fussy he is! I find lunchboxes much harder to do for DD as she doesn't like cheese, butter or mayo so sandwich fillings are really dry! DS on the other hand will eat just about anything savoury but is fussy when it comes to cakes, etc.

Some of the things we do:

Pasta / Couscous / rice salad
Different bread: wraps, pittas, rolls, bagel, etc
Sandwich fillings: cheese, tuna, hoummous, sardines, tinned salmon, soft cheese, marmite, egg mayo, chicken & mayo, peanut butter etc
Crackers & nibbly bits (cheese, ham etc)
Banana bread / banana muffin
Flapjack
Various fruit / fruit salad
Chopped cucumber & carrot
Jelly / Rice pudding / Custard as a change from yoghurt / fromage frais
Drink: water / smoothie / fruit juice / very occasional milkshake in a carton!

I'm trying to vary their lunchbox a bit more again as towards the end of last term it was pretty much the same thing every day!

Great ideas thank you! He's not fussy on dairy but will ocassionally eat a yoghurt at nursery.
