Jamie Oliver carrot cake

So I made this today for the first time and it has not turned out well. I followed all the instructions and had a bad feeling even before I put it in the oven because the mixture wa too "wet" if you know what I mean. The flavour is nice, so I would like to try making it again. Do you think using a bit more flour would work?

I don't think jamie is good at puddings and certainly not at baking.

I made his plum bakewell tart once. Quantities were all wrong somewhere and it was v stressful to make.

I think this is the one I've made a couple of times. Although with a simpler topping. She does a low-fat one which isn't actually much different at all.
