Prawns & chorizo, do they go together? What with?

I've got some prawns & chorizo & seem to think they might go together but not sure how? Anyone got any (simple) ideas?

That would involve me having to buy paella rice though. Unless I cab use risotto rice? Actually quite fancying paella now, could add sime chicken too, mmmm...risotto rice though?

I make paella with risotto rice, no real difference IMHO.

I was going to suggest paella as well but it could just as easily turn into a risotto or kedgeree with other rice and it's easy.

Could also make a tomato based sauce and add the prawns towards the end if they're cooked. Serve with boiled rice.

Tomato based sauce with some chilli (if you've got it) on spagetti. Bung in some frozen peas.

With a tomato and chilli sauce, it'd be a bit like Arrabiata (?sp)

Soften one onion in olive oil for 10 mins
Slice Chorizo, add
2 x tablespoons cumin
add 2 x tins of tomatoes
chickpeas
cook for 10 minutes
add prawns and any other fish you may havegarlic optional

serve with crusty bread

DELICIOUS!!!!

prawn and chorizo skewers - prawns, chorizo (obviously Grin), red peppers and red onion. Marinate in red pesto with olive oil and herbes de provence.... grill or barbecue. I have one of those hot plate type griddles I do them on ...yum (and a big favourite with the kids)
