am doing pork with apple cider sauce for supper for dh, would like to do ginger puds for after, but need a reliable recipe. and wd it be ok to do in a ceramic dish? my dariole moulds are tiny. would line the bottom of the dishes with greaseproof paper.

Will serve with ice cream.

Haven't tried it yet, but how about this I usually do individual puddings in tin moulds but ceramic might be OK - the recipe calls for a pudding basin, which would normally be ceramic possibly?

I think I might try these and maybe freeze a few. better get some jobs done first and then make a list!!

In my head I would like a simple ginger sponge in individual portions iwth a sauce served separately.... maybe I am thinking of a different recipe?? they all seem to include a sauce.

right better crack on, will post if I try a new recipe.

Usually do a standard sponge recipe with a couple of tsp of ground ginger thrown in, and then put a bit of golden syrup in the bottom. Serve with home-made custard.

clearly am not a rhubarb eater Blush as it wasn't in the shops. will have to do some other version, cranberry and orange maybe....

Decided to go ahead and make my normal sticky ginger loaf. Warm from the oven and with vanilla icecream is absolutely fine for me!
