Can I use soured cream in this recipe?

I'm going to make Nigel Slater's sausages and pasta with mustard sauce.

The recipe calls for double cream,but I only have soured. Will that work?

It will make the sauce more piquant, obv but sure it will be fine. Tis similar taste to creme fraiche, a little lighter than using double cream.

What a lovely meal for a cold day. grin
