Red magazine recipe - 3 chocolate layers

Can anyone help me find this recipe?

I was looking through a friend's Red magazine a couple of weeks ago and saw a recipe for Xmas. A 3 layer chocolate thingy. It looked really easy - just dark, milk and white choc melted with double cream I think and layered into a loaf tin. But it did have specific quantities of cream to chocolate.

Can anyone help me out? I am not sure if it was this month or last month.

I think it's the magazine that's still in the shops now - the one with Nigella on the front. Sorry I can't help you - I recycled it.

Here -

250g dark chocolate

275g milk choc

300g white choc

500ml single cream

make and chill one layer at a time

melt the dark choc with 200ml cream in a bowl over hot water. pour into 1 litre loaf tin lined with clingfilm. leave to set in the fridge.

then do the milk choc with 200ml cream, pour on top of the ~(now set) dark layer. leave to set

then do the white choc with the last 100ml cream. And voila!

Recipe byTrish Deseine. Suggested to serve with langues de chat or mini bourbons.

Enjoy. looks delish but very very rich to me!

Hooray! Many thanks.

It does sound really rich, but also good for giving the kids something that looks really special, but is also just about the chocolate - essentially what the kids want ;-)
