QUICK SURVEY
Do you have a large free standing freezer, possibly in your utility room or the garage. One where you store larger quantities of frozen goods?

What percentage of your friends do you think have one?

You see I'm just considering a business idea but it revolves around selling larger quantities of delicious premium food to people who have access to a large freezer at home.

Many thanks.

Yes. And approx 50% of friends do too. How lucky are we?!

gladis · 22/11/2010 18:17

AND IF YOU HAVE ONE, WHICH COUNTY DO YOU LIVE IN? Many thanks

No and would have no idea about friends. My Mum does but that's because she's a thrifty, cook-from-scratch type person so not your market I wouldn't have thought? I wonder if that goes for a lot of people with big freezers?

DancingThroughLife · 22/11/2010 18:20

No.

God, to live in a world where I could afford two freezers.

thisisyesterday · 22/11/2010 18:20

i am in west sussex

i do not have a large freezer
the only 2 people i know that have one are my mum and my best friend's mum

Rindercella · 22/11/2010 18:21

No.

My Mother does. She's in the UK.

DancingThroughLife · 22/11/2010 18:21

Actually MIL does. It's full of delicious home cooked food that's spare. Although there's enough to last a nuclear winter. I don't think I've ever seen her take anything out of it though...

mrspink27 · 22/11/2010 18:21

Yes - am in West Sussex also - I also dont know anyone who doesnt have one.

Fimbo · 22/11/2010 18:22

My parents have a normal fridge/freezer and a single freezer that they keep in a cupboard in their hall.

Fimbo · 22/11/2010 18:22

thereistheball · 22/11/2010 18:27

No but I want one. But first I'd need a garage or outhouse or somewhere to store it.

AitchTwoOh · 22/11/2010 18:27

mumtoblaire · 22/11/2010 18:28

VivaLeBeaver · 22/11/2010 18:29

Yes, in Lincs. Most people I know have one.

MrsDinky · 22/11/2010 18:32

No, my parents do but not sure about any friends. If I did have one it would be full of bulk buys such as meat from farm shop, fruit and veg from PYO, possibly fish from one of those firms that delivers frozen fish in bulk, a spare loaf of bread or two.

When you say delicious premium food, do you mean premium meat etc or premium ready prepared meals? I would not be interested in the latter even if I had the freezer space.
