Your best moussaka recipe please?

Have never made it before and would like to try as I have lamb mince.

I fry the mince + season
slice aubergines thinly salt and set aside, tip away the liquid and pat dry
in a food processor mix feta cheese, garlic, terragon, oregano, olive oil into a fine paste

layer in an oven proof dish, finish with the cheese mix.
pour over one beaten egg.

bake in the oven at 175 with lid for about 30 mins, another 10-15 min without lid to brown the cheese.

not quite original but tasty.

I bake the sliced aubergines brushed with herby olive oil before adding in layers to the tomato sauce and gently fried lamb mince, garlic,onions herbs etc. Top with sliced mozzarella or other. Bake and or grill 35mins
