Had enough of

  1. feeling like I have to justify myself all the time
  2. wasting so many hours in front of the laptop when I have so many other things that I need to do.

So I'm switching off.

Not that anyone will miss me because you don't know who I am anyway Grin

Have fun.

I feel the same sometimes. Go and get productive and then come back when you want to chat.

Oh I am with you on number 1. It's exhausting. I stopped posting until I have argued with myself about it for at least 3 weeks, so I know what I'm likely to get back.

I often just don't bother posting at all any more.

I used to feel like I connected with people on here, I'm finding it less and less now. People just seem to be pissing on my parade all the time. I get enough of that at work. I'm not finding it very uplifting at the moment.

I have phases of that too.

then someone is really really nice and I feel OK about it again.

A flounce from MN is a flounce from life...well, sometimes I think that. The rest of the time I concur that everyone here is a nobber. Smile

MN consists of a special kind of horrible person, that is different to other horrible persons in the real world. I think that's correct.

But the lovely ones are even lovelier. iyswim

Think you're right, should avoid politics and feminism and stick with the Christmas threads. Perhaps I should just hide them all.

One of DH's favourite phrases is "don't argue with an idiot, they will just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".
