What can I do with an unwanted snail?

I have a snail in my aquarium that I don't want (no fish left and I don't want to keep the aquarium just for one smail!) I don't want to kill the poor thing - would it survive if I put it in a pond somewhere? (no idea if that's a bad idea or not!)

Can it be rehomed at your local fish pet shop ?
I have no idea if it is a thing but is there a aquatic rescue centre you could take it to .
I think putting it in a outdoor pond may kill it as it will be much colder water outside . ( but I know nothing about snails ! )

Call a pet shop that sells snails, they will probably re sell it. Please don’t chuck it out, it won’t survive.

I agree, ask at your nearest pet store or garden centre that sells fish, or you could look on social media for a local fish owners' group.

I love that you care about a single snail. There is hope for humanity.
