Leaking fish pond

We moved house last year and now have a large and deep fish pond with some Japanese Koi. The pond appears to be losing water. We thought it was the summer, but it's still happening.
Does anyone have any experience of getting a pond repaired? Where do the fish go? I suggested a paddling pool!

Looking serious now. Think we are going to have to re-home the fish!

We actually siphoned pond water into a big paddling pool, caught the fish and put them in it whilst we put a new pond liner over the damaged one. The fish survived so it's not a crazy plan! Good luck
