Hi, title summarises it really.
We have 6 cloud mountain minnows, in our new tank. Water is all ok - we bought the tank back in November and it has been through the whole nitrogen cycle set up. Fish bought last weekend. There are 4 medium sized ones (about 2-2.5cm long) and 2 smaller ones (about 1-1.5cm long).
My question is this: when we feed them (once a day, as advised by fish shop, using TetraPro premium flakes for tropical fish) only one of the larger fish actually even notices the food. He usually has a good feed, but the others eat nothing. I don't think the others (particularly not the smaller two) have eaten a thing all week. I don't think they even realise it is there.
The plants are all plastic, so it's not even as though the baby fish are eating plants instead. Sounding like my DM here, I don't know how they will ever get bigger if they don't eat anything.
Any advice anyone? We are novices here.
