Lord of the Rings. It's so wonderful.

ThatsNotAKnifeThatsASpoon Tue 08-May-18 00:08:35

Platoon sad... I find adagio for strings the most heart wrenching piece of music, it's unrelenting...

On the other hand,...There's something about Mary smile (build me up buttercup never fails to make me smile)

ThatsNotAKnifeThatsASpoon Tue 08-May-18 00:09:29

Yy Lord of the rings... Powerful

ThatsNotAKnifeThatsASpoon Tue 08-May-18 00:10:50

Trainspotting is full on, very evocative of the period (scarily a long time ago now shock)

Guardians 1 and 2

ThatsNotAKnifeThatsASpoon Tue 08-May-18 00:14:26

I haven't seen Guardians 2, found Guardians 1 OK but ultimately not a huge fan of comic book stuff.... Liked how the soundtrack was a big part of the movie though, the scene where Chris Pratt is first introduced in Guardians 1 strutting around listening to his Walkman was cool grin

DamsonOnThisDress Tue 08-May-18 00:18:49

Lost Boys
Stand By Me
Twin Peaks
This is England
Romeo + Juliet
Dirty Dancing
Top Gun blush

ThatsNotAKnifeThatsASpoon Tue 08-May-18 00:21:42

Ah Top Gun! Berlin had a classic there... Also the righteous brothers - good call Damson!

Must check out this is England, not familiar with that

DamsonOnThisDress Tue 08-May-18 00:32:27

Must warn you This is England is grim. The soundtrack probably not what you might have in mind. It's instrumental for a start. blush

It was a film that then spawned 3 series. All very gritty, raw and brutal at times. So fantastically written and performed that the musical score gives me goosebumps every time I hear it but not a singalong by any means. No nice little ditties. Not for the faint-hearted. shock

StrugglingMumma Tue 08-May-18 00:36:04

Armageddon is my favourite soundtrack.
