Yes, it's sadly decidedly average. And all about football, which is very very boring.

Some nice sight gags but it's nowhere near Shaun the Sheep or Wallace and Gromit. Tom Hiddlestone's french accent gets seriously annoying.

I agree, would never have thought the storyline was based on football and was quite perplexed (shortly before I fell asleep for the duration). DS 10 wasn’t I to it either, but he is currently obsessed with The Greatest Showman.

Well now I've seen it, I actually enjoyed it. (Possibly helped by the low expectations I had following this thread)
I didn't see it as a film about football; more an enlightening examination showing age, gender or indeed, genetic predisposition does not dictate outcomes. However, I am often called a pretentious twat by people who know me.
....and the person I went with fell asleep.

We went yesterday. Rubbish and so forgettable that I was struggling to remember what we had done that morning as we were having lunch afterwards. Jokes were crap, weak gags, and I found all of the characters unappealing. And yes I find football boring. Disappointed.

I saw this today. Why didn't the trailers show any of the football. Seriously it was football from start to finish. I'm sure one of the characters said "crap" too??

I thought the same. There was no football in the trailer and it was all it was about. I wouldn't have bothered otherwise.
