What films can I watch with my 5yo that aren't cartoons?!

Disney and Dreamworks are all very well but I want to watch some “proper” live action films that are suitable for 5yo DD. Any ideas? All recommendations welcome and 80s classics would be great.

You could try a better class of cartoon! Studio Ghibli. Including Ponyo and Kiki’s Delivery Service.

If she likes "The sound of music", she will sure like "Mary Poppins" too. It such lovely film for kids. My DD really loves it. Even Charlotte's Web is great for kids.

My 5 year old has just watched The Wizard of Oz and is crazy over it. He enjoys acting out the tin man scene especially 😄
