Advance tickets on sale. smileglitterball

Looks amazing but haven't seen all in the series. Wonder if it will matter.

Damn you! Got all excited thinking it was a film based on the tv series with Travis Fimmel in. It’s not sad.

I can’t wait for this! I’m a huge fan of Thor and Chris Hemsworth!

Christinayangstwistedsista Tue 17-Oct-17 20:45:17

Ohhhh I can't wait

Tugtupite Tue 17-Oct-17 20:48:16

It will help to see previous. You can rent on Google play etc to catch up. So looking forward to it.

DH and I are just discussing how to see this, DD1 (15) also wants to see it but we have no-one to babysit DD2 (10) and DS2 (6). We might have to go separately but then that's fine because I can lust over Chris Hemsworth grin It looks really funny from the trailers.

Just back from watching this and loved it. It has more of a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe, which is great.
The kids I took hadn't seen the previous Thor films but had watched the Avengers films and that wasn't a problem at all.

Saw it yesterday with Dd 16 and DS 20. We all loved it. Really funny, with great special effects. Thoroughly recommend.

DS and I went to see it today. We both agreed that we were not to keen with the start of the film but the end was very good. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved it! It was so much fun, and very funny. Cate Blanchett was a superb baddy. I want to see it again!

Loved it. Funniest Marvel film by far. Loved Tessa Thompson - I want to be a Valkyrie...

NikiBabe Fri 27-Oct-17 22:57:12

I loved it too. It was very very funny.

Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Saw it yesterday with the dc and one of dd's friends. We all loved it. Hella and Valkurie are great and listening to Korg made me feel kind of homesick (I'm not a Kiwi, dp and the dc are, but lived there for 5 years). It feels really relaxed for a superhero movie.

absolutely brilliant, very funny and much better for not taking itself too seriously.

And Loki..oh my.

Honeybooboo123 Sat 04-Nov-17 23:40:16

oh and if you have seen the movie, try this version next

Only way to truly experience Thor

sakura06 Tue 07-Nov-17 08:21:53

Do we need to know any backstory to enjoy it, please?

iklboo Fri 10-Nov-17 10:19:05

Honeybooboo123 Fri 10-Nov-17 16:12:23

I don't think you need to have watched the last ones really, there is a bit of back story in it...

just enjoy
